En cette période, l'Atelier des savoir-faire est ouvert tous les jours, de 10h à 12h et de 14h30 à 18h.
The skills workshop
The Workshop has a mission to promote the diversity, wealth and inventiveness of the skills and know-how specific to Haut-Jura. Here you can learn all about wood turning, enamel work, making wooden toys, jig-sawing, cabinet-making, decorative tapestry, mosaic work, pottery, stained-glass window making, etc.
The workshop, housed in ‘Bourbon’, an old wood turning factory at Ravilloles, is engaged in three areas of activity:
- Tourism: an exhibition area and shop
- Training: learning and perfecting craftwork skills
- Local economy: partnerships, exchanges, training and an incubator for craftsmen’s ideas.
The training courses we offer aim to teach you basic or advanced skills in a traditional craft. The richness of our workshop relies on a team of instructor craftsmen who are above all professionals with a passion for their craft. Naturally most of our courses are open to all (teenagers and adults).
